Bloggerwave defaults payments

Make money online with someuseless.infoA relative newcomer to the get paid to blog scene, Bloggerwave is a virtual clone of PayPerPost in both its system and website look and feel. In the beginning, some bloggers even spotted a copy and paste job for some of their text.

Now barely a month into operations, bloggers are reporting Bloggerwave making fraudulent payments with PayPal.

Basically, Bloggerwave tried to pay bloggers with funds that they did not have, resulting in PayPal freezing their account. One blogger sent Bloggerwave an email threatening legal action and got paid. The amount? US$10.

Although some did receive payment, many other bloggers in the PayPerPost forums reported not getting paid at all or having their funds taken back by PayPal for fraudulent Bloggerwave payments. Fun, huh?

I tried registering for Bloggerwave to try them out earlier but somehow, my registration never got through - javascript problem, I think. So I just left it at that and never bothered with it again. What a blessing in disguise that turned out to be.

I guess with newcomers to the get paid to blog scene, or indeed with any other kind of make money online programmes, it’s best to just try out with 1 post and keep an alert for any experiences from others. With the blogosphere, it’s fairly easy to keep informed. In fact, a company is almost guaranteed to self-implode if they think that they can pull a fast on bloggers with information going at today’s warp speed.
