PayPerPost Direct vs competitors

PayPerPost is offering bloggers the option of accepting advertisers directly with PayPerPost facilitating the transaction between the 2 parties as compared to the present system where advertisers list their offers on the PayPerPost board.
In doing so, the paid blogging arena has just become more interesting, giving competitors, notably ReviewMe something to be concerned about. ReviewMe charges a 50 - 100% markup on fees for bloggers and keep half the money, even when advertisers order a post through the blogger’s website.

By comparison, PPP Direct charges a 10% fee, 5% of which goes to transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing. Bloggers who are worried about advertisers who default on payment by making chargebacks after a post is completed will also have the advantage of PayPerPost acting like an escrow-like service for the safety and security of their funds. Bloggers also do not have to deal with hassles of the payment process, such as advertisers refusing to pay before a post is done or not paying after a post is completed.

Another significant difference is that PPP Direct lets bloggers set their own fees on the badge that bloggers display on their sites advertising their blogging service. ReviewMe on the other hand, sets the fees as it sees fit with bloggers having no say in the matter.

PPP Direct has set up a full negotiation and transaction auditing system into the PPP Direct engine where bloggers and advertisers can negotiate and hash out details of the transaction without PayPerPost involvement while using the PayPerPost platform.
