Freelance blogging job boards
Filed Under Paid Blogging, Resources |
An often overlooked source to search for paid blogging offers are job portals. Freelance blogging offers could come from multi-national corporations, online magazines, blogging networks and even individuals.
Some require the usual everyday blog post while others require articles to be written. These offers are usually contract jobs which last anything from a month to a year. If you are looking for freelance writing opportunities, there are several job boards worth checking out.

The job board of Problogger dedicated to freelance bloggers. Advertisers are mostly corporations and blogging networks which require high standards of blogging. Many jobs here are from the Problogger’s holding company of B5media.

BloggerJobs is a well designed and easy to navigate portal which features many freelance blogging jobs from around the internet covering a wide range of topics. Bloggers can also post their resume for potential offers.

Performancing has many job offers ranging from mortgage bloggers to celebrity gossip bloggers in a forum listing style. Bloggers can also post their resume to seek out potential opportunities.

WritersRow is a writer’s portal where members create their own blog within. Deborah Ng has created a very good freelance blogging jobs resource with weekly listings. These are in the form of links from various resources including Craig’s List, so you have to check out each link yourself.

Guru is an online jobs portal where all kinds of jobs, both fulltime and freelance are posted and interested jobseekers quote their charges for potential employer’s consideration. Employers will then select the person they want to hire. This is one of the largest job sites online. There is a membership fee of about $40.00 per quarter.

Elance is one of the more established online jobs portal with many blogging and writing opportunities for freelance writers. Writers bid on jobs offered and advertisers select the writer they want to hire. There is a membership fee structure starting from $14.00 per month where each level of membership entitles you to more chances of bidding for jobs.

Project4Hire is a small jobs portal but is worth looking at as it does not charge jobseekers membership fees. Instead, a small percentage of the winning bid is charged.
