Why are companies giving away free iPads?

1. Partial and inaccurate personal details.
Some give false or inaccurate names and addresses in a bid to get around the system to get more than their entitlement. You can be sure that companies spare no expense to verify that all information provided are true and accurate before the gift is sent as they have to ensure that they indeed have a legit customer which is only fair since they are giving away something that costs several hundred dollars.

2. Filled survey more than once.
Only one person per IP per household is allowed. If both you and a family member want a free iPad, too bad. Only one of you will get one. A secure system logs your IP to ensure that all accounts are unique and duplicate free.

3. Used multiple email accounts.
To ensure that they have a genuine customer, you are only allowed to use the same credit card once and no more.

4. Used proxies.
Some internet savvy customers try to use proxies to get away with filling in the survey twice in an attempt to get another free giveaway. This is a clear attempt at trying to defraud companies and a very common reason why some people did not get their free item.

5. More than one person signed up from your network.
Again, a very common mistake that results in disqualification. Only one person from your household can sign up from your network. Sometimes people get carried away and get their friends to sign up while at their house resulting in getting both their own and their friend’s accounts banned.

6. Canceled offer prematurely.
If you cancel your offer before fulfilling to the stipulated period, you are not keeping your end of the bargain in return for free item. Therefore, always make sure you do not cancel immediately after signing up.

As you can see, you have to keep to the rules and be very careful when completing the survey or offer in order to get your free iPad. It’s only fair for companies to be so strict and thorough in ensuring they get a genuine customer since they are giving several hundred dollars worth of product to you.
