One of the pioneers of get paid to blog sites Blogitive has recently undergone some management overhaul resulting in several major policy changes.
Blog entries now need a minimum of 100 words and have to be between two other entries with at least 50 words each. If you have 2 blogs, entries must be written differently. Content must be relevant to the product and contain 1 hyperlink to the client site.
Just recently, blogs hosted on services like WritingUp, BlogParty and WordPress are no longer accepted because they are not “Blogitive friendly”. So bloggers who have been using these free blogging services and want to continue with Blogitive assignments will have to fork out for web hosting. This may be a good thing because the your blog will then be your own asset and not an asset of a blog service provider.
Blogitive has not been active in its offers in the last month because of management and server upgrades. One hopes that they get their act together soon and resume the excellent service they have been providing so far.

Smorty.com has a minimum 150 word per post, but as far as I know, it is much better and you start from $6 minimum and you get more opportunities to write reviews.
