Get Paid To Write Tutorials At TutorialTub

Filed Under Paid To Post |

TutorialTub is a get paid to post site that shares Adsense revenue. Unlike other paid blogging sites, your post must be a tutorial - an article that teaches something. There are no restrictions on the topic as long as it is within reason.

Your tutorial will have its own page where Adsense ads will be placed for a 50/50 split on earnings. Your tutorials must be original although you can use them on other sites. A glance through the topics include “How To Clean Your Keyboard” and “How To Cook Steak”.

This is a plus point for TutorialTub since your article need not be very long and topics can be about almost anything. For example, a tutorial for cooking steak has only about 100 words with pictures included in the tutorial. For other topics though, articles can run on to over 500 words.

Obviously if you write about a topic that more people are interested in, you get more readers and consequently, a higher chance of getting more clicks on your Adsense. You should do a search through existing articles to see which ones get the highest number of views. Interestingly, a tutorial about ” Synthesizing Pyrophoric Iron” received 218 views while “Increase Your Search Engine Visibility” received only 9 views.

Readers can rate your tutorial by giving it a thumbs up or thumbs down and add comments. These have some effect on the popularity of your page although it’s the usefulness of your information that counts. Readers can filter each category by ratings and views with the most popular articles featured on the front page.

Since there is nothing to stop you or your friends from clicking on your own article to get more views, you can get featured on the front page with several hundred views even if your article is rated poorly.

There are some social bookmarking buttons at the bottom of each post but it is not clear how TutorialTub is actively promoting its site since traffic from search engines would be important for the numbers.

The highest viewed article I’ve found so far has around 1,850 views since August 7, 2007 - there could be a higher number I might have missed. If we apply the average Adsense click through rate of about 1%, meaning 1 click for every 100 people who view your article, you’ll have an idea of the number of clicks you get relative to the number of views.

So at a $0.50 pay-off per click, in a 30-day month you can expect to make: 1,000 x 30 x 1.0% x $0.50 = $150. Minus TutorialTub’s 50 percent cut, you’re left with $75. But since the example article has been online from August 2007 - that’s about 8 months with 1,850 views so far - indicates that it has earned much less.
