Yet Another Useless Wiki

The latest wiki to cash in on the recent craze after the success of the MillionDollarWiki and other wiki clones is the Quarter Wiki. It is from the same guys who created the OneBuckWiki and FiveDollarWiki.

The way the QuarterWiki works is almost exactly the same as the others in that you buy a page, this time as the name suggests at $0.25 for a keyword or phrase. Again the site is “guaranteed” to be live for fifteen years.
In addition to putting any content you want on your page, you can also add multimedia content such as video, RSS feeds and even place AdSense on your page to monetize it. Whether this goes against Google TOS is another matter. You can even introduce frames within the page to display your website.
Maybe these guys really liked my article on how to make money online the surefire way. They are applying all my key ideas into their business model - generating market hype by ordering a John Chow review, having a professional looking site and making people think they can make money buying a wiki page.
At $0.25 a page, these guys will have to sell heck of a lot of pages just to cover the $400 John Chow review. This time though, even John Chow is not too interested - he’s asked someone else to write the review.

Yet Another Useless Wiki…
The latest wiki to cash in on the recent craze after the success of the MillionDollarWiki and other wiki clones is the Quarter Wiki. It is from the same guys who created the OneBuckWiki and FiveDollarWiki.
This comes hot on the heels of the Million D…
I bought a page called “DO NOT VIEW THIS PAGE” and after the review on JohnChow it has had over 700 unique visitors. I would say that is a killer return on investment for $0.25, but not everyone will yield the same results. =)
525 pages sold after John Chow review and still rising!
This post stumbled! Thanks for sending us more buzz!
Colin:
What kind of return on investment did the 700 unique visitors bring? Raw traffic that bounced or traffic that you somehow funnelled off somewhere else or captured their emails?
max:
If nothing else, I must say you read the market right. They are not tired of wikis nor have they wised up yet.
Why should Graham make all the money right?

They say a sucker is born every minute so, depending on how many minutes you wait, you might just bait a good portion of suckers.
Maybe the next big thing will be MillionDollarGoogle.com, where people buy their own rankings and results pages
Jason:
That domain was registered earlier this year…whoever owns it should really rush to develop something with it and make a fast killing.

Hey emigre,
Lol… thanks for the uplifting comment. We were a little worried too but I think we did enough damage with the review.
Graham’s on another journey to make a million bucks so I don’t think he cares so much. Check out http://entrecard.com if you haven’t.
