Million Dollar Wiki For Sale

The Million Dollar Wiki is up for sale. The site that managed to swindle $100 per page from buyers is trying to make double profit by selling the site itself now. Million Dollar Wiki is an idea by Graham Langdon based on an original MillionDollarPixel idea in 2005 which sold $1 per pixel to generate $1million. It’s a great money making idea.

Million Dollar Wiki

Million Dollar Wiki is the latest make money online site to go on sale after a slew of sites recently sold such as CashQuests (sold for $15,000) and BlogOhBlog (sold for $10,000). Bidding seems fierce as it has reached $10,000 on the same day it was put on auction at Sitepoint.

Million Dollar Wiki

Graham Langdon left a comment in my post about Million Dollar Wikis being scams saying:

www.milliondollarwiki.com is for sale, so come place your bid and be the second in line for this pump and dump business. I succeeded in stealing 100K from everyday people. Now it is up for sell for you to do the same. Come make history again.

The site supposedly sees 14,000 uniques per month with a monthly revenue of $2,000. Million Dollar Wiki sales have ground to a snails’ pace since all major keywords and phrases are sold out. Anyone who buys a page now would be mopping up leftovers.

Graham Langdon obviously knows that the site has reached its peak and is now on its way down into the abyss so he is making a wise move by selling before all the buzz has fizzled out completely and people start to wise up.

Looking at the bids, apparently there are those who think they can steal another $100K from everyday people too, as suggested by Langdon on the sales page. He says he is selling the site to fund expenses for a new project named Entrecard.com.

UPDATE: The Million Dollar Wiki site promised to be online for at least 15 years but it’s now gone not even 5 years later – its account has been suspended.

Why am I not surprised? I have seen this site grow from scratch, quite interested in whether or not he would make any money, looks like he has. Good post :)

Well, look like the site is closed. Probably the owner did not pay for the hosting fee. It was a scam from day, promoted by some Internet Marketing Gurus. The site is supposed to be up for 15 years at least. A pure pump and dump scheme. Lots of people paid $100 for a useless page on this brain freezing wikis. How can they get back their money?

They can’t. That’s all there is to it.
