Bloggerwave still has payment problems

Several months ago, Bloggerwave ran into payment problems just after its launch where PayPal froze its accounts because of insufficient funds, resulting in bloggers not being paid or having their payments recalled by PayPal.

Bloggerwave CEO Ulrik Thomsen then went around the blogosphere leaving explanations for what happened, saying that the unfortunate incident had been resolved with Bloggerwave making payment successfully to outstanding accounts. Indeed, many bloggers reported getting their money.

Now, it seems that these problems have either not completely been resolved or they have resurfaced - at least that’s what some bloggers experience. Several bloggers have left comments here saying that Bloggerwave did not pay - one said though he was paid $130, it was later reversed. Another said that the amount due was inexplicably reduced while some are simply still waiting for payment. A search online revealed that there are reports of non-payment. However, since we usually hear about it only when people are not paid, while the rest who have been paid are unlikely to say anything, it is unclear if the situation is as rampant as it seems.

Bloggerwave seems to be fairly popular because it does not require a blog to be 90 days old, unlike PayPerPost. Its site looks professional enough to make bloggers want to join. I’m unable to comment on Bloggerwave personally since I’m not a member. I did try to join when it first launched in May of this year but there were javascript problems and I could not access the site, so I just left it at that. I guess that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

So if you are thinking of joining Bloggerwave, do so at your own risk.

I too had just signed up a few minutes ago for Bloggerwave and had problems with adding my first blog. Since then I was searching for anything out in the cybersphere about Bloggerwave and if anyone else had problems signing up. Low and behold I found lots of negative items about Bloggerwave. I guess I am like you and will let sleeping dogs lay.
