BlogRush makes changes

BlogRush is making some changes to various aspects of the programme after its successful launch which saw over 15,000 sign-ups turn into a huge disappointment for users who reported extremely poor click-through rates for the BlogRush widget.

Improvements To Be Made To BlogRush

1. All blogs submitted will be manually reviewed – including existing blogs in the BlogRush network. Poor quality blogs will be removed.

2. More security measures will be added to remove abusers of the programme.

3. Widget will be available in a variety of colours so that it will blend more into blogs to entice more clicks. Users are also recommended to place the widget above the fold where it is more visible.

4. More categories will be added so that more relevant headlines will be displayed.

Apart from these changes being implemented, BlogRush founder John Reese says many other improvements and adjustments are in the works. Could these changes be too late? We shall see over the next few weeks.
