In my search for affliliate products to promote, I came across Secret Newbie Weapon - an ebook on making money online in affiliate marketing which caught my attention because its unique selling proposition (USP) is selling without a list.
Anyone who has been in some form of internet marketing for a while would know the importance of the email list. Affiliate marketers swear by the list as being the single most important factor in making sales. This ebook by William Quek touts itself as the ZeroList Affiliate Manuscript. Very catchy and compelling. And quite rightly too, William Quek positions himself as a former newbie who discovered how to be successful in affiliate marketing without a list.

I would have to say that only total newbies would find anything new in the package. It covers all the usual areas - keyword and market research, paid advertising, payperclick and traffic building tips - nothing groundbreaking for someone who has done some research online. If you’ve been searching for ways to make money online, you would have come across these methods one way or another, either on make money blogs or marketing forums.
In fact, Secret Newbie Weapon sounds very much like another product, although its author is more well-known in the internet marketing world, Ewen Chia’s Newbie Cash Machine. Both use similar methods, the main difference being that Newbie Cash Machine DOES use the email list strategy.
