Clicksor is similar to how Google AdSense works in that they are both contextual advertising programmes. Clicksor is obviously much smaller than AdSense and so have less advertisers and as a result, a lower cost per click which translates into lower earnings for publishers. However for those searching for an alternative to AdSense, Clicksor may be worth trying out.

How It Works
1. Submit your site for approval - users have reported speedy approvals.
2. Embed a html code in you website - when someone visits your site, your defined keywords are replaced by a Clicksor link.
3 .You earn 70% advertising revenue generated by your website based on CPC and CPM metrics
4. You can also display text-based banners in a size you choose.
5. Clicksor provides the real-time keywords optimizing tool for CPC text banner and text link.
6. You can submit multiple sites but all will be linked to one account.
7. You can also earn commission with referrals - Publishers receive 10% referral commission for each new Advertiser or Publisher referred to Clicksor, 10% commission from the daily spending by advertisers referred. In addition, publishers will also receive a 10% commission from the daily earnings of Publishers referred. All referral commissions are calculated on a daily basis after the daily system audit. All Publishers referral commission will expire after a 12 month (1 year) period.

Requirements
1. Sites must have 5,000 page views per day or 150,000 page views per month..
2. Sites must be in English.
3. Under 18s must fax parental permission.
4. Traffic from illegal sites such as warez, newsgroup postings are not accepted.
5. You are allowed to place up to 3 ad units per page.
6. Sites must be complete, working sites with substantial content.
7.Fraudulent clicks and page impressions are prohibited.

Payment
1. Payments are made every 1st and 15th of the month.
2. A minimum amount of US$50 is paid either by PayPal or cheque.
