Bloomberg Says iPad 3 In Production Release Date In March
Get ready for another round of Apple hysteria as iPad 3 rumors go into high gear with Bloomberg reporting that production of the much anticipated tablet is already under way with the release date likely in March 2012.
The new iPad 3 is said to have a quad-core processor, high-resolution “Retina” display and 4G LTE support for faster data connectivity on the go. The higher and sharper screen resolution allegedly rivals that of HD TV to the point that images looks like printed material and videos load instantly. But whether it will be thinner is still unknown with conflicting reports.
One camp believes that Apple will use Sharp’s IGZO technology enabling a much thinner screen while others claim that Sharp did not win Apple’s favor, meaning it will use Samsung and LG IPS display technology that requires a thicker screen to accommodate the light bar design.
