Apple iPhone 4S Launched
Apple presented the iPhone 4S at the highly anticipated “Let’s Talk iPhone” media event on October 4 instead of the expected iPhone 5. Wow…now that’s disappointment for you.
The highlight of the iPhone 4S seems to be a greatly improved antenna which in fact, incorporates 2 antennas that the phone will switch intelligently to send and receive. The present iPhone has had reception problems that plagued users enough for Apple to give away free bumpers to help improve signal reception.
Other new or improved features are an 8-megapixel camera, A5 processor, faster graphics and support for the Siri intelligent assistant software.
Pre-orders start this Friday, October 7. The iPhone 4S release date is October 14 where it will be available in store.
