Apple iPhone 5 October 4 Release Date
Apple will unveil its long awaited iPhone 5 on October 4 in a media event, with the view to make it available for purchase in the following weeks, according to news reports.
New Apple CEO Tim Cook is expected to play a lead role in presenting the iPhone 5, although it will most likely be a team presentation with other executives. Whether Steve Jobs will make an appearance at the event will largely depend on the state of his health at the last minute.
Apple is also expected to update its iPod range of products during the event.
Since Apple sends out media invitations a week before the event, we will have a better confirmation next week.
